You can use this "Smaoinigh Mor - Think Big!" Learning Playlist to earn digital badges throughout your learning journey in the class. Check out the different activities below to see what you can get badges for. These badges support your learning beside the topics and issues you discuss in the class. They are evidence for your attendance, your engagement, your group work and much more!
The badges represent the skills you gain while being in class, engaging with others and working on your graduation. At the end, you can generate a certificate with all your badges and you can even add it to your CV!
This way you can participate in the playlist and the individual activities:
To try it how it works, follow the instructions (you will find them in each of the activities, too) and earn your first badge in the first activity called "Introduction".
Activities to complete
Complete the following activities, earn badges and you will see your playlist progress updated
This is a special activity as you can earn two badges here! You can earn these badges when attending class regularly and on a daily basis. Especially in the beginning, it can be confusing to remember all the different courses and the times. Why not writing down a schedule with your classes to remember everything and tick it off? It helps you to track your attendance, too.
In the resources, you can find two templates that you can fill out with your weekly schedule but of course you can create your own one, too. Try it out with Word, canva or any other programme you know and become creative!
After one week of attendance, you can get your first badge. After a whole month of coming to class on a regular basis, you can get your second badge!
The owner of this badge has completed the required tasks for the Attende activity which forms a part of the learning playlist Smaoinigh Mor - Think Big!. The skills, knowledge and attitudes gained and demonstrated through completing these tasks include:
Attending class for at least one week.
Understanding the importance of regular attendance.
Taking responsibility for their attendance.
Completing these tasks means they have successfully worked to gain the Attende badge and are now on their way towards achieving the overall Smaoinigh Mor - Think Big! badge.
